Author’s Edit Complete!

My “Author’s Edit” is complete. 153,637 words over 26 days. Not as fast I’d hoped, but I’ll take it!

What does this mean? It means I have a book now that is readable without being ready for printing. It’s a (hopefully) coherent piece of writing that’s something like 80% of what it will be. That last 20% will be the deep time of Beta Reading, Developmental Editing, and then Copy Editing. God willing, those three things will be done some time in August.

Now I get to select beta-readers and finish formally hiring my Editor. Exciting times!
